Make them feel welcome by sending them some company "swag" or giving them a virtual tour of the office. 6. Can You Require Employees to Get the COVID-19 Vaccine?

With the vaccine becoming more widely available, it becomes the question, can you require your employees to get the Covid-19 vaccine? "Employers may require vaccines before employees return to the worksite if the failure to be vaccinated constitutes a direct threat to other employees in the workplace because the virus is rampant and easily transmitted in the workplace," said Robin Samuel (SHRM website). However, there are exceptions such as individuals with disabilities, or religious beliefs. Read more about the precautions that employers must follow regarding the vaccine here!
