Somehow we manage to find ourselves halfway through October. How can this be? Schools are beginning to return to hybrid options, there is more traffic on the road, and sports are back...although it's tough to be a Philly Sports Fan right now!

We recognized World Mental Health Day last Saturday, October 10th. As you can imagine, the past months have brought on many challenges and impacted the mental health of millions of people. Check out what the World Health Organization (WHO) is doing this year to increase awareness and the incredible resources they have provided to those affected during the COVID-19 crisis. 2. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

Unite For Her is a nonprofit that aims to enrich the health and well-being of those diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancers for life by funding and delivering integrative therapies. There are many events you can get involved with to help contribute to their cause. Join their Mojo Fitness HIIT Hop – Party in the Park on Saturday, October 24th, for a de-stressing and calorie-burning workout that also gives back! 5. PA Overtime Rule

Attention Employers! As of 2020, employers must follow both the new federal overtime rules and the overtime requirements of Pennsylvania's Minimum Wage Act. Employers must follow the rule that provides the greatest benefit to the employee. Both rules are similar, but the federal law does not affect the enforcement of state overtime requirements. This is a great family spot that will enhance your fall weekend plans.
