Get the most out of AI at work

Former Amazon Web Services AI leader and now top consultant, Allie K. Miller advises major companies like OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic on AI adoption and was named one of Time’s most influential voices in AI in 2025.

She now works primarily using Claude Code, running multiple instances that automate workflows, from summarizing emails and scheduling focus time to generating social content automatically.

Her approach: teach AI your workflows, then make it more proactive. She even uses “synthetic personas” to review content and simulate decision-making, creating an “AI boardroom” where different perspectives debate ideas.

The takeaway? The future of work is multi-agent, highly automated, and designed to help leaders make smarter, faster decisions. Read more!

HR After Dark- Episode 25: Workplace Wellness

In Episode 25 of HR After Dark, Marcia and Meghan are joined by wellness strategist Julie Palumbo, Founder of Best Whole Self, to talk about what workplace wellness looks like when it’s done right: less “check the box,” more real support that actually reduces burnout and improves performance.

Julie shares how her own health journey (including a Crohn’s diagnosis) reshaped her career, what companies are getting wrong about employee wellness, and what leaders can do to build a culture where people don’t feel guilty taking care of themselves. They also examine modern work realities—commuting stress, blurred boundaries, “micro-shifting,” and why employees remain overwhelmed even when they’re working fewer hours. If you’re an HR leader, CEO, or people manager trying to improve retention, productivity, and well-being without turning it into corporate fluff, this one’s for you.

In this episode:

  • The top workplace wellness topics companies request right now
  • Burnout, boundaries, and how leaders can spot when teams need support
  • Why ongoing coaching beats one-off workshops
  • “Micro-shifting” and the new workday reality
  • The BEST framework: Balance, Energy, Strategy, Transformation
  • Why preventative care is becoming a business strategy (not just a benefit)

TOC in Action

Client Testimonial

“Recruiting has always been a challenge for us, especially with the turnover we’ve experienced working with traditional recruiters. The O’Connor Group’s Recruitment as a Service model was a much more palatable approach because it provided consistent, dedicated support throughout the process. The team stayed engaged every step of the way, and the candidate tracker was incredibly helpful in giving us clear visibility into the search and candidate quality. This was our first time recruiting for a non-industry-specific role, and the experience was smooth and collaborative. We truly appreciated the partnership and additional support from the TOC team.”

Stay Hydrated, Stay Energized

Are you drinking enough water throughout the day? Staying hydrated is one of the simplest ways to boost focus, energy, and overall well-being.

Here are a few easy ways to keep your hydration on track:

Keep it visible – Carry a reusable water bottle to encourage regular sips
Set reminders – Use an app or alarm to nudge you every 15–20 minutes
Add some flavor – Try lemon, lime, mint, or berries for a refreshing twist
Eat your water – Snack on hydrating foods like cucumber, celery, strawberries, and melon
Start early – Kick off your day with a glass of water to rehydrate after sleep

Small habit, big impact—cheers to feeling your best! Learn more!
