Revised I-9 Form Now Required

Effective January 22, 2017, employers are required to use the NEW revised Form I-9. You can follow this link to access both an electronic form as well as a downloadable pdf.

If you have not already starting using the revised form, you should begin to use it effective immediately with all new hires, reverifications and rehires. To easily complete the form, it is easiest to download the PDF of the form directly to your computer and share the PDF with your employees using the latest version of the free Adobe Reader.

As we previously reported in December, you should continue to follow existing storage and retentions rules for all of their previously completed Forms I-9. You can also read the USCIS News Release regarding the new form and visit I-9 Central for more information.
