3. Gen Z workers Dissatisfied with Career Readiness
Recent findings reveal that younger workers feel disadvantaged in today’s competitive job market. Nearly two-thirds of surveyed Gen Z workers under 24 express dissatisfaction with how their school or college prepared them for employment, according to a report from CYPHER Learning, a provider of learning platforms for business and academic training.
The survey highlights the career readiness challenges faced by Gen Z as they transition from education to the workforce. An alarming 63 percent of respondents believe they lack the necessary skills to compete in today’s job market. Additionally, nearly 80 percent of these young workers have seriously considered leaving their jobs due to a perceived lack of professional development opportunities, compared to 54 percent of workers aged 45 and older.
